What we collect
When you request a sample we collect the details you type into the form:
- your name and work email
- your company name
- the country the sugar ships to, the product you are interested in and your expected volume
- anything you write about your product
When you ask for our company profile we collect your name, company, work email and, if you give it, your country. If you write to us by email or WhatsApp, we keep that conversation.
Why we use it
We use these details only to reply to your request, send you a sample, prepare quotations and manage our business relationship with you. We do not sell your details and we do not use them for advertising.
Who can see it
Form entries are stored on our web server and sent to our company email. Our hosting and email providers process this data on our behalf. We share your details with others, such as freight forwarders or producers, only when needed to fulfil your order, or when the law requires it.
Visits to this website
We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the site. It sets cookies in your browser and Google processes the data under its own privacy terms.
We also count visits with our own counter, without cookies. It records the pages viewed, how long they were read, the type of device, the referring website and an approximate country based on your browser's time zone or language. It does not store your IP address. Visitors are told apart within one day by a random key that changes daily, so a visit cannot be followed from one day to the next.
If you open our website through a personal link in an email we sent you, we note that the link was opened, together with the pages you viewed, so we can follow up on your interest.
How long we keep it
We keep your details for as long as needed to handle your inquiry and any resulting business, and for the period required by law. You can ask us to delete them at any time.
Your choices
You can ask us to show you the details we hold about you, correct them or delete them. Write to contact@baskorotrade.com and we will reply.
Fonts
The fonts on this website are served from our own server, so opening a page does not connect your browser to Google Fonts.
